NZimed Medicals Online allows online submission of the INZ1007 Medical Certificate, required for visa or permit applicants who wish to stay in New Zealand for greater than 12 months.
About the NZimed Project
The core NZimed online system comprises 3 core functions. For immigrants to New Zealand, the website enables them to submit all of their medical certificate information along with supporting documentation. Secondly, doctors and medical professionals can fully manage submitted certificates, embellising each application with medical results, scans and test results. Thirdly, the system provides for seemless integration with NZ immigration, vastly speeding up the application process compared with manual paper-based applications.

Our Service
Some key features of the system include:
- Sophisticated PDF generation. Each application is comprised of 10 seperate sections that include online form completion, PDF-based certificate completion, and supporting supplementary document uploads. These are all automatically converted into a single, bookmarked PDF certificate formatted to be in keeping with Immigration NZ’s requirements.
- Development of online administration tools with tiered access rights for NZimed staff, medical staff and immigration officials.
- Advanced security and anti-hacking measures to ensure data privacy.
Key Points
- Provision of user-friendly tools including online photo upload/cropping, on-the-fly PDF document conversion and inuitive navigational systems to steer users through a complex online process
- This project demonstrates our ability to deliver a fully secure, scalable application in a short period of time. The previous developers of the system had failed to provide a system with this degree of sophistication in over a year (Bluefuse implementation took 3 months).
- Implementation of advanced security/encryption to protect sensitive data which was subsequently tested and sanctioned by 3rd party security experts.
