Essencia Homes specialise in finding and developing unique buildings or sites with a distinctive and interesting character. Conscious of their responsibility to the environment, each Essencia home is created by highly skilled craftsmen using traditional materials and modern fittings with the benefits of the latest design technology.

They needed both a new logo and a website to match the quality of their properties. They also required a website that they could update virtually every aspect of. While the standard WordPress implementation covered some these needs, extensive customisation was required to fully address all of them.

  • The Essencia Homes project is a great example of a WordPress site being extensively adapted to meet very specific client needs. For example, the requirement to upload and edit gallery images used in the slideshow. WordPress does not cater for this by default within the CMS.

Feedback

We spent quite some time reviewing and assessing a number of potential web site designers and developers in our quest to build a professional web site that we could maintain ourselves.
