We’re very pleased to announce the launch of voicegig.com. It’s an exciting project, and quite unique. Here’s a quick opening statement taken from the about page:

VoiceGig is dedicated to speeches. Our first goal is give a platform for anyone, any where to upload, access and comment on speeches. Free. We feature speeches on all topics, from an address by President Obama, to persuasive speeches, informative speeches and historic examples such as famous speeches from Sir Winston Churchill, President Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr., to name just a few. Moreover we’re committed to giving you the whole text. Too often the international newsmedia manipulate speeches through sound bites. We want to by-pass this filtering. With the whole text you can judge for yourselves what was actually said.

This website allows people to upload and download speeches, read analysis and make comments. Registered users get their own dashboard which enables them to save their favourite searches and speeches. It’s a community driven website with speeches being grouped into areas such as historic, polical and social.
